Ms. Vriti Gujral is a distinguished Advocate with extensive experience in litigation, arbitration, and corporate advisory, practicing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and specialized tribunals across the country. Her appearances span the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of Delhi, Punjab & Haryana, Bombay, and Himachal Pradesh, as well as forums such as the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Competition Commission of India, Central Administrative Tribunal, and National Green Tribunal.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Amity Law School, Delhi, and has over a decade of rich and diverse professional experience across multiple domains of law. Her core areas of practice include constitutional law, service law, corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy law, competition law, environmental law, real estate disputes, and general civil and criminal litigation.

Ms. Gujral has had the privilege of working in the chambers of eminent Senior Advocates, including Mr. Nidhesh Gupta, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, where she served from November 2016 to August 2024. During this tenure, she was actively involved in complex and high-stakes litigation, including service matters relating to promotion, seniority, pension, and disciplinary proceedings; disputes under the Companies Act, 2013; competition law matters; arbitration proceedings; insolvency and bankruptcy cases; environmental litigation; and large-scale commercial disputes. She has also worked on significant matters involving corporate blacklisting, land acquisition, medical regulatory issues, and consumer disputes.

She has been extensively engaged in arbitration-related work, including assisting in arbitral proceedings, handling arbitration litigation before the Supreme Court and High Courts, and working on applications for appointment of arbitrators. Her exposure covers the entire arbitration lifecycle, from drafting and strategy to enforcement and appellate proceedings.

Prior to this, she worked with Mr. Vikram Chaudhri, Senior Advocate at the Punjab & Haryana High Court, where she handled a broad spectrum of matters including criminal law, constitutional litigation, regulatory matters, and statutory disputes under legislations such as the NDPS Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, COFEPOSA, and Negotiable Instruments Act. She has also worked with Mr. Gurminder Singh, Senior Advocate (present Advocate General, Punjab), where she gained further experience in service law and writ litigation.

Ms. Gujral has independently appeared and argued matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, including appearances before Constitutional Benches. Her advocacy is complemented by strong drafting expertise, including Special Leave Petitions, writ petitions (civil and criminal), appeals, legal opinions, and complex applications across forums.

In addition to her litigation practice, she has significant corporate advisory experience. She has been retained by international clients, including companies based in Canada and Vancouver, to handle litigation in India as well as to advise on contracts and regulatory frameworks. Her work includes drafting and vetting of commercial agreements such as employment contracts, shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions documentation, copyright agreements, and other corporate instruments.

She has also been empaneled with National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) Ltd. and has contributed to internal dispute resolution and compliance mechanisms, including serving on a Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee and handling sensitive workplace investigations and settlements.
